Battle Royale Tournament Style (Solo)

Like other battle royale games, Fortnite Battle Royale is a competitive shooter game between 100 players as they air-drop out of a moving plane (or “battle bus”, in this case), then fight to survive as the play space slowly shrinks to force people into combat. True to the battle royale formula, you need to find all of your weapons and equipment on the map — you don’t land with anything other than a pickaxe.

While you could try attacking someone with your pick, it’s best used to harvest building materials from trees, cars and other free-standing objects so you can make your own walls, ramps and platforms. This is a carry-over from the base-defence game Fortnite Battle Royale sprang from, but this mechanic adds a new ingredient to the battle royale recipe that makes it stand apart.

The goal of this tournament is to knock off as many other players in your match as possible which rewards you 4 points per kill. The other way to generate points is be the last player standing (Winning your Battle Royale) or as close to first as possible (see points system below). You can play as many times as possible within the time period but we only want to see your best which you send to us at the end of the round (see below for more details).

In the event of a tie, the person who submitted their last round (Round 3 on Sunday) match results first will be the victor.

Sending us your results

Once you have your best match ready to send in, simply fill out the Fortnite Round Results form, as shown on the left, making sure you have everything properly filled out so we can verify your match results and add you to the Leaderboard.

Note that if we feel that the picture you send in has been modified by photo editing software, we reserve the right to disqualify you from the tournament and potentially ban you from additional tournaments.
